Energy supplies

  • Generator non-stop (diesel generators work in tandem with the mains supply, no startup delay)

  • 4.6 KW per rack redundant (power feed A 20 ampére and power feed B 20 ampére)
  • Currently CO2 neutral cooling by Nuon district cooling and 50% of our energy from Amalia wind farm. In 2010/2011 it is 100% renewable energy. The data centre is low-energy and has a PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of 1.3, which means that DC2 consumes no less than 70 per cent less energy than a traditional data centre.
