Data centres
Denit makes use of three data centre locations in The Netherlands (Amsterdam), with the KPN DC2 data centre as our main location. We also have equipment at euNetworks and Global Switch. Everything in our data centres is geared to safety, reliability and speed. We will be proud to guarantee your online presence from these top locations.
KPN DC2 data centre
At the end of 2009 Denit equipped the data floor with the latest hardware, exactly as we wanted. We have a data floor of approx. 200 m2 at our disposal, equivalent to 81 server cabinets.
Top location
The KPN DC2 data centre is situated above the most important telecoms node in the Netherlands. It lies alongside the A10 ring road, near Amsterdam RAI station with metro, fast tram and train. It has its own car park outside.
Safety
The data centre is guarded 24 hours per day. System rooms are equipped with a redundant power supply with diesel generator backup, so there is power available at all times. The data centre conforms to the highest fire detection, air cooling and access management standards.
KPN DC2 data centre specifications
- Power feed/UPS/Generator redundancy = 2N (fully redundant)
- 4.6 KW per rack redundant (power feed A 20 ampére and power feed B 20 ampére)
